POMEGRANATE SEEDS Pomegranate seeds can be a doubled-edged sword. While they contain an unusual, but addictive, sweet-tart flavor, they also can stain your cutting board, clothes, and hands. To extract the seeds from their hive with minimum mess, slice the pomegranate in half and put it in a large bowl of cool water. Under water, work the seeds out of the pomegranate with your fingers. The seeds will sink to the bottom and the pulp will float to the top.
